Wedding

Well im a pakistani girl so when it comes to weddings its a big deal especially if its your brothers wedding.
as i wear the jilbab i wanted to wear a maxi dress but coudnt find any so i got one made. i cheated aas i copied the design from google :$

to add some height to the maxi dress i wore some silver heels and as it was a sleaveless dress i wore a sequinned shrug on top.

i got some purple material and on the last part of the edging which would be showing i added on a sequinned pattern which can be purchased online or at asian shops :) this one is from the edging of a old kameez of mine :)

i then mixed some bangles purple black and silver and job done :)

1st Day

My first day wearing the jilbab made a few people shocked.i wore a black jilbab with mint cardigan a mint hijab and mint flat shoes which i need to take a picture of and upload for you as it was a normal college day i wore a mint side bad which i think is quite.the heels ive put there is for someone whos working in a office etc and would like to wear heels. i wore some mint and gold shoes which i had bougt from primark for 5 pounds :)

My Journey

Well Well Welll...Ive Never Done Blogging Before Lets See How This Goes :S
I started wearing the september 2010 i didnt know how to do it but i had practice from before,,i started praying namaaz out of the blue i received a text from a friend saying maghrib i jumped and went to pray and since that day i havent missed a prayer unless obv i cant pray lol.
Well over the last 5 months ive started to try different hijab styles.
i think the problem with us muslim females is we are scared to wear a hijab , islam is easy we make it hard for ourselves.wearing a hijab is a tiny step you make and then its 2nd nature wearing my hijab makes me feel comfortable.
Since i started my hijab ive experimented with what i wear to look modest i will post some images when i figure out how to post images on here.
my next step is to wear the jilbab.i got one made its not expensive the material it self is 2 pounds a yard and then the tailoring is around 10 to 14 pounds. and you can accesorise this with cardigans and matching hijabs and shoes.
